Hank Justice
Hank Justice is DJ/Writer/Editor from Miami that is fighting musical injustice one beat at a time. In 2012, Hank reunited with one of his long-lost loves: Music. He was always the kid that turned to music. It was always deeply embedded in him since birth. While he was in high school and college, he always found himself at parties wishing he could be in control of the music. He wasn’t interested in partying; he was interested in orchestrating them.
Hank’s mission is to destroy musical injustice in the form of DJ sets chock-full of music that people can enjoy and move to. He is often asked what he is playing and is often told that his selection is unique and excellent. This is because he spends hours each day carefully digging for gems anywhere he can. He loves sharing these sounds with the world and hopes to be able to do so more often and for more people. It’s a musical story that’s forever under construction. |
Hank is the social media catalyst of the Volksmusik and an active roster member. He was the co-founder of Come to Elysium along with Mony Lon and now has his own project, Das 80s.

I have always had a love for music. I am going on 10 years of DJing and 5 professional.
It all started back in 1995 when I was only 15 and went to “The Kitchen Club” Once in, I was blown away by the music that was being played. I was definitely inspired to start mixing music after listening to early Industrial and Digital Hardcore music. Groups like Front 242, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Lords Of Acid, and many more like them is what made go out and start saving to get my own decks. I spin a wide variety of music, everything from Hip Hop, Freestyle, Electro, to even Gothic & Industrial music. I have spun at many different venues around Miami including EveMiami, Wet Bar, Mamushkas Midtown, Vlada Lounge, The Manors in Wilton Manors and a few more. Well, that’s a little about me, I’ll finish this mini bio with one of my favorite quotes. "We are the music makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;-- World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems." -Arthur O'Shaughnessy |
